Summer Lunchtime Program Assistant

Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services has an opening for a temporary position as a Lunchtime Program Assistant.  The position provides support to the Corvallis School District staff during the Summer Lunchtime Program at Lancaster Bridge Apartments.  Typical tasks include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Cleaning
  • Summer Lunch Coordination
  • After-lunch Active Programming

A successful candidate will have experience working with and supervising a diverse group of children ages 1-18, an ability to complete accurate record keeping by hand, basic math computation skills, competent communication and problem solving skills and an ability to work with both staff members and the public.

Internship Opportunities

Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services provides unpaid internships for individuals studying housing, social work, human services, community organizing, or related majors. Internships are open to undergraduate students in their senior year and graduate students who are interested in learning more about housing stability and other services for low income families.
