Accomplishments

We have developed or preserved 285 units of housing worth almost $38 million at 15 locations. These properties provide homes to more than 700 people—half of whom are children and seniors.

Since launching our NeighborWorks® HomeOwnership Center, we have helped more than 750 families buy their first home and have graduated more than 2,100 people from our Homebuyer Education Program.

Plans for 2011

We are currently constructing 49 units of affordable, multi-family rental housing in Corvallis. Ten of these units will be supportive housing for survivors of domestic violence.

We are also starting construction of six Community Land Trust homes in northeast Corvallis.

In addition, we are expanding the availability of our Homebuyer Education and Financial Future services so that more families have the knowledge and skills needed to make smart homebuying decisions.
